"Study materials didn’t measure up"
I bought the study materials from National Center for Competency Testing, they were disappointing compared to other prep resources I’ve used. A lot of it felt outdated and kind of bare-bones, almost like copied notes without much explanation. Some of the practice questions didn’t really line up with what I was actually trying to study either. For the price, I expected something a lot more complete and helpful. I wouldn’t use them again.

"When I was going through the process..."
When I was going through the process, I thought everything was straightforward at first. But as I got further along, the fees became more obvious, and I felt like they hadn’t been explained clearly enough upfront. That made me pause a bit and question whether I could fully trust the process. I would’ve felt much better if the costs were laid out more clearly from the beginning...

"Pretty helpful, but I had to dig around a bit"
I spent some time looking through NCCT for certification info, mostly while drinking a lukewarm coffee at my kitchen table, and overall it seemed credible. The site gave me the impression that it's legit and useful, but a few pages could definitely explain things more clearly. I found myself clicking around more than I expected just to verify certain details. Not a bad experience at all, I just wish everything important was easier to confirm in one spot.

"Practice questions didn’t feel very exam-focused"
I used this thinking it would help me prep for the actual exam, but a lot of the questions felt kind of unrelated to what I ended up seeing. I reached out to support and they basically said something like, “Our question bank is designed to cover the broader topics,” which I get, but it didn’t really help much when the practice didn’t feel aligned. It wasn’t totally useless, but I expected the questions to be closer to the real exam style and content

"Not the right fit for me"
I gave it a try, but it just didn’t match what I was looking for. From my point of view, it felt like it was meant for a different need than mine, so it ended up not being useful for me...

"Support fixed it fast"
I had a small issue and contacted support, expecting to get annoyed waiting around because I don’t have much patience for that stuff. But they got back to me faster than I thought and explained exactly what I needed to do without making it complicated. I followed the steps, it worked, and that was it. Happy with how easy they made it.

"Not really worth the hassle"
I wasn’t too happy with the whole experience. It just felt frustrating from start to finish, and maybe I was expecting too much, but still, it didn’t really feel worth my time. I know one bad experience doesn’t mean everything is terrible, but I probably won’t bother using them again

"I put in a lot of hard work…"
I put in a lot of hard work here, and while it did get noticed once in a while, most of the time it felt like management just overlooked it. Looking back, I wish I hadn’t pushed myself so hard without feeling more appreciated.

"It met my CE requirements and I got…"
It met my CE requirements and I got what I needed out of it, but I’ll be honest, some parts were a little confusing and I had to go back through things a couple times just to make sure I was following everything right, but overall it did the job.

"Had to Keep Asking"
I felt like they didn’t really explain things clearly, so I kept having to ask follow-up questions. It was kind of frustrating because I expected the communication to be more straightforward, like compared to...

"I applied and then basically just…"
I applied and then basically just ended up waiting around. I remember this process being quicker and a lot more straightforward before, but this time the approval took way longer than I expected and there weren’t many clear updates along the way. It did finally go through, so I can’t say it failed, but the whole thing felt more frustrating than it used to

"Student support was really helpful, honestly"
I had a few questions when I was first getting started, and the student support team got back to me quickly. They explained everything in a way that actually made sense, which was nice, because I wasn’t totally sure if I was just overthinking it, you know? They were patient and didn’t make me feel silly for asking. Overall, it was a really good experience.

The remote proctoring process was really easy and everything went smoothly. I didn’t run into any issues, which made the whole experience stress-free.

"What a Registration Mess"
I tried to register for my exam, the whole signup circus was way more confusing than it needed to be. The site kept bouncing me around, and I couldn’t even tell if my info had actually saved or not. I ended up spending extra time just figuring out basic steps. Frustrating process overall.

"Instructions could’ve been clearer"
I’ve used similar products/services before, so I was expecting the setup to be straightforward, but the instructions here felt unclear and a bit all over the place. I eventually figured it out, but it definitely took more effort than it should have.

"Support took forever to reply"
I’m giving this 1 star because the support response time was ridiculous. I sent a message expecting some kind of reasonable reply, but instead I just kept waiting and checking back like, how is this okay?
I get that companies can be busy, but customer support really shouldn’t feel like a chore. The whole point is to get help when something goes wrong, not sit around wondering if anyone is even going to respond.

By the time I finally heard back, I was already annoyed and over it. Not a good experience at all, and I definitely wouldn’t want to deal with their support again.

"Took a bit too long to get a reply"
I emailed ncctinc.com with what I thought was a simple question, they took longer than they probably should have to get back to me. The response was fine once it finally came through, so I can’t say it was a terrible experience, but the wait was definitely annoying. It kind of feels like quick help isn’t really their strong point

"Quick and easy renewal"
Renewing my account was easy, honestly. I just logged in, clicked through the steps, and before I really had time to wonder if I was missing something, it was done. No phone call, no weird confusing forms, nothing like that. I also got the confirmation right away, which was nice because I always sort of wait for that part to make sure it actually went through. Not a whole lot more to say, I guess. It worked the way it was supposed to, and I’d use the site again next time.

"I thought this would be straightforward..."
I thought this would be straightforward, but the documents ended up taking me a while to figure out. There were a few spots where I had to reread things, and after a bit it started to feel like the paperwork was doing most of the talking.

"Scheduling a Test Was More Frustrating Than Expected"
Signing up was easy, but after that I felt like the next steps weren’t very clear. Finding a testing center ended up being the most annoying part. The closest locations barely had any dates available, and a few looked completely booked for weeks. I kept checking back because I wasn’t really sure what else I was supposed to do, and in the end I had to choose a place farther away than I wanted. Definitely not ideal if you need to test soon.
